Our Office Will Remain Open

Central Phoenix OBGYN will remain open to provide necessary care through this national health emergency.  Some of you may be unable to come to the office because you are in a high risk* group or have other reasons for minimizing your exposure.

We have made special arrangements for offering remote medical consultation** during this time. Email centralphoenixobgyn@protonmail.com for more information. We will be posting more on COVID-19 online to keep you informed.

*This virus seems to be particularly dangerous to individuals who are elderly or have chronic conditions. Please follow CDC guidelines if you are in any of these groups.

**In some circumstances, remote consultations may not be billable to your insurance plan. Remote consultation visits could have out of pocket costs for you.

What To Do if You Have Cold-Like Symptoms

Some of you are understandably concerned about what to do if you have symptoms. We’ve put together this handout to answer some of your questions.

Remember most symptoms will be due to the usual seasonal viruses. If you have seasonal allergies, use your usual allergy remedies.  If you do not have allergies or your usual remedies do not work you can use the information below to find out if you need evaluation.

If you have mild flu/cold-like symptoms,  use this online symptom checker to help you figure out if you need to be seen for additional testing.

After using the symptom checker, if you need additional testing, visit an ER or  Urgent Care near you. They have measures in place to give you the appropriate evaluation.

If you have severe symptoms like high fever or shortness of breath, please call 911.
