Responsibilities
- Obtain an adequate history and perform appropriate physical examination for a range of gynecologic complaints and annual and preventive visits
- Provide routine office prenatal care including referrals to specialists when appropriate
- Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed
- Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient
- Administer appropriate medication or prescribe treatment as necessary
- Minor procedures within standard scope of practice
- Participate in after hours patient call coverage
- Supervise one or more colleagues (NP, PA and/or students)

–Women’s Health or Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
–Valid, unrestricted, Arizona license from the State Board of Nursing for Advanced Nursing Practice and maintain license
–Active DEA certification and licensure
–Ability to meet all clinical obligations of the medical practice: accrediting agency compliance (AANP or ANCC), CLIA compliance, HIPAA, state and federal regulations, safety regulations, continuing education, and training to keep abreast of current developments in the industry etc.
–Unrestricted AZ state and DEA licenses, obtained before your start date.
–Full COVID-19 vaccination including booster(s) is an essential job function of this role. Disclosure of vaccination status prior to employment is a requirement for this position.
